Brevo Hackathon 2023

Brevo Engineering hosted it’s first ever 24 hour hackathon, Hackstone, on December 2nd and 3rd, 2023. Teams across various companies and colleges had participated, along with Brevo’s teams. The floor was buzzing with 50 participants both internal and external for the duration of whole event, enthusiasm amongst all teams was at peak, while they were busy in building their hacks.

- External Asset Repository Integration: Integrating external asset repositories such as Dropbox and Google Drive with the content library, followed by compression processes to optimize storage and delivery.
Universal object framework for enhanced business entity support.
In CRM ecosystem, an “object” refers to a fundamental data structure or entity that represents a specific type of information or record. An object can have properties/attributes and events associated with it. Some example of objects could be contact, account, company, deals or opportunity, tasks or activity, meetings etc. All such objects can have there custom attributes and events associated with them.

- Unified Object Creation: Develop a global, unified object framework that empowers customers to create and utilize various types of objects/entities, meeting diverse business requirements.

Hackathon Rules
- This is a team event. You can have team size of minimum of 2 members and maximum of 5 members in your team.
- The hackathon will start on 2nd December, 2023 10:00 AM IST and ends on 3rd December, 2023 10:00 AM IST, you work on your hack during the allotted time only.
- It’s an in person hackathon, you have to be present at venue for participation.
- Once you register as a team, a Github repo will be created as per your team name and team leader will be given admin access of same.
- Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.
- Presentation demo duration is approx 10 minutes.
- Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Open AI, Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter, feeds etc.
- By participating in the hackathon, you must respect fellow participants.
Submission Guidelines
- Presentation: Reiterate the core problem you’re addressing and explain how your prototype offers a solution.
- Video Demo of Working MVP: Showcase a video demo of your prototype in action.
- GitHub Repository: Share a link to your GitHub repository containing the prototype’s code, documentation, and any other relevant assets.
- Ensure that your submissions provide a comprehensive understanding of your project’s idea and its prototyped solution, considering the outlined evaluation criteria.
